Great warm but thin

This is a great base layer for cool outdoor activities. I'm most impressed with the fit. I'm 5'8" 185 lbs, choose a size large, and very impressed with the fit and cut. It fits right against my skin, but not too tight, allowing plenty of movement. It does not restrict motion and moves with me without any tight spots or chafing. It's perfect for a base layer for outdoor activities, and on a mild day, just as your only layer. I use for cross country skiing and alpine downhill skiing. As well as for a bit of warmth when raking fall leaves too.I love the fact that its merino wool. It breathes well, good for sweat. And yet, doesn't stink like synthetic fabrics. It's not quite as comfortable against the skin when compared to cotton (or even some synthetics). Since its wool, it feels different against the skin. But its not scratchy and while not quite as comfortable as cotton, I wore for multiple days, and it didn't bother me much at all. I really like this shirt and went and got a second one right away. I'm also considering their base layer pants/tights too because this shirt is a hit!

I’m a huge fan of Merino wool and have a lot of merino wool clothes. This long sleeved shirt did not let me down and has all the great qualities of merino wool. It fits true to size, is soft and a great choice for primary layer. Definitely would recommend this

My husband gets cold at night; so, I decided to order this base layer for him. He usually gets itchy with wool; but, since this is merino wool, it was not an issue for him. He was very impressed with the quality and liked how it kept him very warm (especially at night when dawn hits). Overall, great brand for merino wool base layers.
