Woolcano Kid's Unisex 190 Merino Wool Base Layer Set Thermal Top and Bottom

We got a larger size since it’s for my toddler but has been great for layering during this past winter. Launders well and doesn’t feel scratchy on the skin. Now it doesn’t feel soft and smooth on the skin either haha so we usually layer on top of bamboo fabric for his skin.

I've always wanted to get a full wool base layer for my kids for camping and other outdoor activities, but I've always been hesitant about the potential for itchiness. I got the black set in size 9-10 for my tall and slim almost 8yo son (about 50" and wears size 8/M in shirts and size 10 in pants). I'm glad I went with the larger size on these! They're slim and not baggy at all, so the larger size just gives him a little more time before he outgrows the arms and legs.My son is really sensitive about itchy or stiff fabrics, and getting him to wear jeans is always a fight. Somehow he loves this base layer! He's actually excited to put them on and asks to keep them on all day. They fit well under his skinny cut jeans, sweats, or his baseball pants. I have merino wool base layers that make me itch a little bit, so I'm pleasantly surprised my son loves these so much. This is a great set that has held up well to washing so far, even when they accidentally went through the dryer once.

Just as good as smartwool especially for the price. Nice and thick.

Merino wool is pricey, but I think it's the best stuff for winter. The material is so incredibly soft, and the greenish blue color is so nice. (A nice change from all the black and grey base layers we're used to.) My kiddo is warm in these and they wash well. I plan to order more.We sized up, and I think that was for the best. These stretch though so I think we can wear these again next winter, too.

Thread Fell apart after first use. I was hoping this would be better quality after paying $100 for it. Disappointed
